When you feel lonely, going through hard times as some of us are, hurt and pain, fearful and desperate and you need comfort.
There are many names of God in the bible but one of the most powerful and resourceful names is ABBA FATHER.
Abba in ancient Greek - pateras to mean a male parent but Abba is Daddy.
Abba is Used to express Source, Sustainer, Protector, Provider.
When Jesus is teaching disciples to pray he told them.
“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.”
Matthew 6:9 King James Version (KJV).
It's one thing to know the father it's a whole new thing to experience him as a father.
May know Jesus but many have never known he is a son, life, truth and Way, but to where? “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”John 14:6 KJV The father is the destination.
When you get born again you join the family of God as the head of the family, Jesus as our elder brother. “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,”Ephesians 3:14-15 KJV
“For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”Galatians 3:26 KJV
Jesus didn't die to win us to himself but to introduce us to the Father. It's not enough to be born again at the cross there is a deeper level of being a son to the Father.
Jesus being a saviour relates with us from our point of need “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”John 14:13 KJV (let little children come to me) but the father relates with us from HIS point of Need. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”Matthew 6:33 KJV
We are all children of God but there are those who graduate to be sons of God. Children deal with Jesus but Sons deal with the Father.
The reason most of us salvation is not working for us is because we came to Jesus but we never met the Father who is the essence of the whole deal.
That is why most of us don't have the patience to work on our salvation to be sons but we came to salvation for the job, the money, the cars, and the spouse... it may begin there with Jesus but he is not in the position to sustain it because the next level is under the father.
Many were they got born again things were heavenly but things get tougher as we get along because there was a handover and shifting we were supposed to mature into.
Sons report to the father “Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. Job 2:1 KJV.
God the Father is not performance-based father but he is an empowering father... He rewards interest, not parasites i.e Leader of Dubai, millennial fathers vs Gen Z.
What you don't sweat for you don't value.
A father doesn't pamper you but teaches, mentors and inspires you … He instils responsibility and discipline, and He Awards Loyalty.
Before you possess my kingdom I need to possess you.
Before I fight for you I will fight you first.
