Galatians 6

7. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

8. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

9. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

10. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

If you are looking forward to posses financially,  then be ready to position yourself financially.

Financial prosperity demands we position ourselves financially through giving so that we harvest financially later. You reap what you sow.

Luke 6

38. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

In essence, giving in the kingdom is a sure investment. Nothing goes to waste, whatever you give will always come back, so give a good measure.

Understand this:

You first give for you to receive.

You receive the same you gave.

You receive in the same measures or proportion. Small for small, big for big.

From this, we understand that giving follows the principle of sowing and reaping.

God runs the universe on the principle of sowing and reaping in the economy of time.

He therefore established the sowing and reaping season for us.

Genesis 8

22. “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat,  summer and winter, day and night  will never cease.”

Sowing and reaping is a kingdom principle

Our lives revolve around sowing and reaping. At any given time we are either sowing or reaping.  It is up to you to determine the quality and the quantity. This is what makes a difference in our lives.

At the end of the year, all of us will be at different levels based on our sowing.

Today we have that opportunity to sow financially by way of pledging and waiting for a good harvest. It all depends on you.

Wherever your feet will step you shall possess.

Joshua 1:3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

Let us first understand the three principles of the kingdom of sowing and reaping

 1. You reap what you sow

The harvest is always of the same nature as the seed sown.

You plant tomatoes don't expect to harvest maize.

Matthew 7: 16-18

16. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

17. Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

18. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

You sow in the flesh you reap in the flesh. Sow in the spirit you reap in the spirit.

Take care of the quality of your seed. Mbegu mbaya mazao mbaya (Bad seed begets bad harvest).

Ukipanda mambaya expect mambaya (If you sow evil, you will reap evil) so be careful with the nature of seed hata kama (even if) you feel justified. Make the right choice of seed usirudi kusema (Don't later say) it was out of anger.

What nature of harvest do you want?

This is what many believers need to understand.

If you want a financial breakthrough, you have to sow financial seed. That's why there are all different types of giving for God's people. They exist as an opportunity for financial breakthroughs.

No matter how prayerful you are, if you are not a giver, you will continue to flourish in prayers but no financial prosperity. Utajua kuomba hadi tunakuja utuombee lakini pesa ni sisi tunakusaidia (You will be good in prayers but you will be seeking financial help).

2. The harvest Is always greater than the seed

We only sow a small seed but we reap many seeds.

If you sow many seeds, you will harvest much.

The quantity of your seed determines the quantity of your harvest.

2 Corinthians 9

6. Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

Therefore purpose in your heart when giving or sowing.

2 Corinthians 9

7. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Never ever give like just a by the way, Ili uonekane umetoa (for you to be seen that you have given).  Always give with the harvest in mind. Remember this is a seed and you expect a harvest. So purpose in your heart. Give it a careful thought. What would you want to harvest? It is your future harvest you are making your future This is why you need to Do it right and gladly. Why should you feel bad when you are building your future. You need to sow a lot of seeds and do so cheerfully.

To purpose in your heart means to give from a willing heart. Don't be pushed to give but have a willing heart to give. 2 Corinthian 8:12. willingness will yield generosity. Sow a generous seed. As you sow remember this  God is going to multiply it.

2 Corinthians 9:10 (New American Standard Bible)

Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness

You will harvest more than you sow but in accordance with how much you sow. Panda mingi (Sow a lot). Pledge big and watch out for abundance

8. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

3. The harvest always comes later

There is a time difference between sowing and harvesting.

You are where you are based on decisions you made in the past. You are a harvest of previous years of your life.

What you are doing today will determine your future.

If your sowing was good, it will lift you if it was bad it will tear you later in life. Some people are haunted and denied opportunities or brought down by things they did way back in time.

Some people are remembered and lifted because of their past acts.

This means our present may catch up with us later and affect our future and that of our children.

Some people here are struggling or making it easy because of the deeds of their parents be it goodwill or investment.

Pledge your future now, what you are pledging now will secure your future

Let's make a pledge utakulia na ibariki hata watoto wetu (You will benefit and our children will also benefit from it).

Proverbs 13

22. A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.

As we give by pledging today, It will affect our future generations.

Our pledge is a way of positioning ourselves financially. Let's do it with revelation.

Thank you.
