[8] This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
• We should look for ways we can honour the Lord by utilizing our time in productive ways transforming our lives and of others.
• Remember you can be Time barred.

How do we redeem time?
1. know what you are supposed to do.
V 17 understand what the will of God is.
You are not meant for everything, you have a purpose.
Don’t just do things to fill up time or because others are doing it or just there is something to be done.
Romans 12:1-2
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
2. Choose your priorities wisely, first things first.
Matthew 6:33
[33] But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
There are many important things that we need to do but some must precede others.
3. Do the right thing at the right time
Ecclesiastes 3:1
[1] There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 Corinthians 6:2
For he says in the time if my favour I heard you,
And in the day of salvation helped you
I tell you, now is the time of Gods Favour, Now is the day of salvation
Do it now don’t procrastinate. Don’t lie to yourself you have time tomorrow, tomorrow may never be yours. You are only sure about today. (Bulls horn) examples
Fathers relate with children while young don’t be too busy with work. After teenage, you lose them to the outside world which they have discovered.
4. Do it excellently. Don’t do it with your hands do it with your heart.
Colossians 3:23
[23]Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,
Matthew 25:23
[23]“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
Conclusion
John 15:5
I am the vine, you are the branches if you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit: apart from me, you can do nothing.
