John 5:1-13.
God knows and sees our longtime suffering and he is very willing to help us sail through.
-Bethesda was a Hebrew tongue name which means "House of grace and mercy".
-Bethesda was somewhat like a public infirmary.
-Do you want to get well? Jesus wanted this man to give him permission so that He may heal him; instead this man began to give Jesus excuses.
-God does not force His miracles in us instead, He wants us to receive His miracles free and willingly.
-Even though this man didn't know who Jesus was; This one didn't limit Jesus to show him Mercy.
-This man had enough patience until Jesus noticed He was there for a long time. Psalms 40:1-10
-Sometimes we put our trust in what we see, e.g Doctors, Medicines and Hospitals, yet Jesus wants us to trust in Him and we will be made well. This man had put his trust in waters that was in the pool but his healing was in Jesus. Psalms 20:7, Hebrew 11:1, 11:6-11
-Let's not wait for Jesus through one door / way, let's be free. He can come through any door/way. John 11:20-45
Some of us will be healed through:
1. Worship and praise: Acts 16:25-26.
2. Laying of hands: James 5:14-16.
3. Through your own faith: Matthew 9:27-30.
4. Through the faith of others: Matthew 8:5-10.
5. Through the one who is empowered to deliver the gifts of healing: 1 Corinthians 12:9.
