Let God Lead You, January 31, 2025 (Friday Family Service)

Reverend Michael Mwangi

Senior Pastor, Fedha Church, Kenya Assemblies of God

It is God who has given us 2025 and it is Him who knows the way better.

HE knows where our blessings are and where dangers loom. Only His Spirit desern what is true in thus age of deception.

John 16
13. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

1 Corinthians 2:10-11 New King James Version (NKJV)
But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.

Psalm 119
105. Your word is a lamp for my feet,  a light on my path.

Matthew 17
24. After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma temple tax came to Peter and asked, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the temple tax?”
25. “Yes, he does,” he replied. When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. “What do you think, Simon?” he asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes—from their own children or from others?”
26. “From others,” Peter answered. “Then the children are exempt,” Jesus said to him.
27. “But so that we may not cause offense, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours.”

Romans 8:9-11
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

1 Kings 17
2. Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah:
3. “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan.
4. You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”
5. So he did what the Lord had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there.
6. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.

1 Kings 17
8. Then the word of the Lord came to him:
9. “Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.”
10. So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked, “Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?”
11. As she was going to get it, he called, “And bring me, please, a piece of bread.”

Isaiah 45
3. I will give you hidden treasures,   riches stored in secret places,  so that you may know that I am the Lord,  the God of Israel, who summons you by name.
