The ninth hour of the day was the hour of prayer for the Hebrews. It is through the medium of prayer that we obtain power with God.
The ninth hour was also the time that Jesus gave up the ghost on the cross, after saying, “it is finished,” meaning that God’s plan for the complete redemption of man had been accomplished and man could now walk in the fullness of power with God.
Galatians 5: 22 -23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Above are the 9 fruits of the Spirit which actually give us the power to overcome the enemy in our personal lives.
1 Corinthians chapter 12: 8-10
8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.
The above verse lists the nine Gifts or graces of the Holy spirits that gives us power for ministry.
Accomplishments
Abraham at 99
Woman gives birth at 9 months.
It is a month of accomplishment.
When we accomplish we get power over our enemies and over our situation.
Peninnah used to mock Hannah until anamuangalia na anakosa appetite (she could look at her and lose appetite). But at the 9th month, Samuel came and she got power after becoming a mother. Peninnah was silenced once and for all.
We are in the 9th month. If you give birth to what you have been expectant. You will be empowered over what has been mocking you and depressing you.
Giving birth is a very tricky moment and requires preparation and pushing.
Victory is never always guaranteed and needs pushing in prayer.
It is a moment of battle and victory comes amidst fighting.
We are near the entrance of accomplishment.
Isaiah 37:3 New International Version (NIV)
They told him, “This is what Hezekiah says: This day is a day of distress and rebuke and disgrace, as when children come to the moment of birth and there is no strength to deliver them.
Whenever we are about to give birth the devil works to bring
- Complications
- Still birth (kuzaa hewa)
- Kumwaga uzao (miscarriage)
The devil will try to
- Abort - Kill the miracle.
- Ensure you never get the miracle
- Delay, inconvenience
- Ensure you don't get it on time
- 3. Eliminate you
- Ensure you never live to enjoy the miracle
- Death of the mother
Genesis 35:18 (New Century Version)
Rachel gave birth to the son, but she herself died. As she lay dying, she named the boy Son of My Suffering, but Jacob called him Benjamin.
