Everything changes but only Time. It is the MODUS OPERANDI (one's way of doing things) of God and the kingdom.
In every man's life, there will be a season of fatness and seasons of leanness, as surely as the weather changes rainy, Summer so are seasons in a man's life.
Seven years of plenty
Are seasons of ease, abundance, opportunities. i.e. build yourself, know God, and maximise destiny.
Investments in your days of abundance
Build your capacity.
2 Kings 4:1
Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
- it takes great oil and many vessels to make a profit.
In careers, we have seasons of getting papers, seasons of getting experience, and seasons of building careers.
In the marketplace place there are seasons of building networks and connections, getting to know the low before rubbing shoulders with the great.
Some people have ignored Joseph's advice and have nothing to show or be when seasons change i.e. politicians who were the mark of honour but failed to understand the season and now they are nobodies because they didn't bring up or mentor young brains when going up.
Every time you enjoy the rainy season remember it has a message from the dry season that I'm on my way and vice versa if you receive the season and you don't receive the letter thou shall suffer your ignorance.
Build relationships - Cultivate genuine friendships.
Many are your friends because of what you can give them, the day you run dry you will be surprised by the many of us who can't pick up your phone call.
Lower your expectations from people men are selfish, when they see you look like a ladder you will see many of them genuine people are scarce but pay the price to find them early.
Be careful what you share with people, your problem is you share a lot and unnecessarily i.e. you just met someone and in 5 minutes you already giving them your family and past history.
Refrain from speaking about your eggs at the hatchery.
Jesus never responded to every word thrown out to him, he knew when to respond and when to hold his peace.

And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Let people qualify to access your destiny, love everybody but don't relate with everybody, Jesus chose men to walk with carefully.
Invest in blessing and transforming lives of others:
In 1 Samuel 22:2 David became a captain of nobodies but in 2 Samuel 23:8 they were his warrior,loyal men that could die for him.
1 Samuel 22:2
And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.
2 Samuel 23:8
These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time.
Don't expect loyalty in people you don't invest in. Be there in men's dark days for them to be there in your days.
Visionary leaders don't keep fans but they turn fans into leaders. Not all come back but don't worry you reap what you sow not whom you sow. It's better to be kind than right. Right doesn't always mean success but kindness does.
Study and carefully follow those who have maintained relevance over time.
Heb 6:12
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
When you stand before greatness don't contribute but listen. The difference between a fool and a wise man is the ability to learn. Wise learn but fools compete.
Seven years of famine
Represent years of constraints, inconvenience, and scarcity.
It is a subject of worry when after years you have nothing to show and prove the sonship of God.
Have seen old men walk alone in old age with no one to help and keep them and the question happens what happened in their days of influence? Years can eat up years.
Could you be reaping your harvest in your days? They mistreated and took advantage of people or even your children when young only for them to grow up bitter and hateful.
Wisdom dictates every time you find yourself on a stage you better realise someone was there before you came and you are going to join them in backstage but what you do on the stage right now will determine what the audience will remember you for.
Nothing is as bad as to be a reference point and a terrible warning to a generation that is coming up while you are still alive.
Every season comes with a manufacturer's date as well as an expiry date. Best before to determine its consumption time.
Genesis 41:53
And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended.
Sisters have days of glory and glowing.
Parents treat children well, how you treat them today they shall reciprocate the same measure pressed down and running over. Give them a good life when you have the capacity.
Husbands, treat your wives well when you have money, for there comes a season of deficiency.
