1 Samuel 18:1, 5-12

Preparation

David had gone through a lot to be in this moment at the king's palace.

From his home background, the rejection of his brothers whom he was trying to be very nice to even taking lunch to them but still they had an attitude. Sometimes the people who you have devoted, committed and gone out of your way to help are the people who betray, hurt you the most. They are the people who spread wrong rumours about us and no matter what we have done to please them People who have determined to misunderstand you will always hate, and accuse you of something.

Thank God for the people who wrong you intentionally because you never know what the Lord is using them to usher you into.

_All things work together_

His birth was not his Dad's favourite neither was he highly thought of.

Psalms 51:5 NIV

Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

Some of us were never thought we were, because we didn't behave like, looked like but we ended up being the reference point of the.

He was never thought to be the son of Jesse but ...

Matthew 1:5‭-‬6 NIV

Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah’s wife,

Theologians will argue that he longed for a fatherly connection that he never returned home after meeting Saul and he felt appreciated for killing a giant whole he was never appreciated for killing the Lion and Bear.

Everything in David's life was a preparation to meet Goliath because nothing he went through was wasted. The killing of the Bear and the lion was to sharpen his warrior skills to meet the giant Goliath who would be the platform that exposed David and shifted his level from a sheep shepherd boy to a general in a king's army.

The Harp playing skills were a preparation for his divine appointment to be before Saul.

Sometimes we are busy fasting and praying to God to take us out of something that God is training, preparing us with.

Thank God for the Boss who fired you because it was a preparation for the next-door, business.

Thank God for the Ex who left you with nothing but God because it's until you got to your end that God began a journey with you.

Thank God for your family that rejected you and separated from you because God sorted you for them.

Psalms 23.

Some of us have survived major heartbreak, rejection, pain, orphanage situation, virus outbreak.
