Haggai 1: 1-11We must give priority to God's work.
In the same way that we have devoted our time, resources and energy to our lives, family and projects, we need to show the same devotion to the work of God. As we continue enjoying God's blessing we need to be a blessing to his work.
Are you living in a panelled house while God's house is not in order? You are catering for all other bills for your life but you have not committed yourself, pledge or given for his House.
This is why you are struggling and not prospering.
Solution
Haggai 1:8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber (let it cost you) and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honoured,” says the LORD.
1. He will take pleasure in (itakayo mfurahisha)
2. That will honour him (itafanya aheshimike)
Something that will bring glory and honour to him. A house that is worth and will cost me and you. This is why we are pledging and devoting ourselves to giving for this project. Have you pledged something of worth or you are saying it is not yet time?
Unaendelea kushughulikia na mambo yako, ya unasema ya Mungu inaweza ngoja na ni yeye amekepea kila kitu. )(You are doing your own things while saying God's business can wait, it is God who have given you all things.)
Wait until God puts your case on the shelf or waiting list. Mungu akisema pia yako itangoja utaumia. (If God says your issues can wait, you will suffer.) If you haven't then expect a real struggle. God has given you everything you have but you are just panelling ( enjoying) your life with it without any concerns for his House. I encourage you to pledge today and respond to His call that you may share in his blessings. For those who have pledged God bless you and prosper you greatly. Thanks for pledging but ensure this:
1. Redeem on time without delay. Make it your highest priority
Ecclesiastes 5:4. When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools;
Fulfill your vow.
2. Redeem it in full. Don't rest until you have completed it.
Partial obedience Is disobedience
Numbers 30:2. When a man makes a vow to the Lord or takes an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word but must do everything he said.
Redeem or it will be demanded
Deuteronomy 23: 21. If you make a vow to the Lord your God, do not be slow to pay it, for the Lord your God will certainly demand it of you and you will be guilty of sin.
If you don't redeem your pledge it is a sin and you are guilty of it.
VOTING
You are a citizen by God's design and you have a duty.
Acts 17: 26. From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.
Go vote na uwajibike (and play your part).
Proverbs 18:18. Casting the lot settles disputes and keeps strong opponents apart.
Participate and settle this matter. Be used to fulfil God's purposes and will. We have been praying now to go vote and continue to pray at home. Don't pray without voting it is irrelevant.
Proverbs 16:33. The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.
Daniel 2:21. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.

Contention Tuliibiwa (It was stolen)
Tension. Pray isikuwe violence (Pray that there will be no violence)
Settlement. Pray for IEBC
EVERYONE has a duty to vote and pray
James 4:17. If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.
Don't vote party but leaders that are credible and God fearing because.
Proverbs 28:28. When the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding; but when the wicked perish, the righteous thrive. Evil prevails when good people just sit and fail to act.
Esther 4:14. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
