Matthew 25:1-13

Being able to go the extra mile is what makes a difference between winners and losers.

The extra defines you and set you apart from the crowd. Heroes are ordinary people who do ordinary things in an extraordinary way thus becoming extraordinary people. It is not the ordinary acts that touch people but the extra mile that makes the difference.

Matthew 8:8-10

They go an extra mile beyond the usual. Extra mile defines your destiny. When you have the extra you can do more than the usual or ordinary. The five foolish girls were not prostitutes but virgins like rest. They also had oil like the 5 wise virgins.

Matthew 8:4- Their differences was the extra they carried.

They missed it because they did not have extra oil. It is the extra that made the difference between the wise and the fools.

Matthew 26:7,13

[7]a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.

[13]Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

Matt 5:38-47

Christians are defined by the extra above the ordinary.

We not only love our friends but we go an extra mile and love our enemies. We do not just do what is expected but go the extra mile. The word of God is full of people who stood out because of the extra. Extra mile giving is highly noted in the bible.

Abel not only gave like Cain but went an extra mile and gave the very best

[3]Besides, in my devotion to the temple of my God, I now give my personal treasures of gold and silver for the temple of my God, over and above everything I have provided for this holy temple:

In the year 2022, we want to be extraordinary by going the extra mile.
