It's impossible to grow into God if you never change from your old self and purpose to submit to be a new man:

Characteristics of an Old man
  • Keeps old practices – lustful, sexually immoral, loves his practices
  • Keep old friends – Psalms 1
  • Keeps old ways/places –
You are not saved if we can still trace an old man speaking, thinking, walking and behaviours. 
When Christ comes in your life he transforms everything in your life.

Steps into connection with God
  • Distinguish between closeness and connection
  • Submission
  • Resist the devil
                  Avoid wrong places, people, websites.
