MARK 5: 1-15.
• What do we do?
This is a question that I am often asked by many people as they watch the situation getting worse and are becoming hopeless and helpless. Jameni pst tufanye nini?

Jesus met this demon possessed man who was naked and living in graveyard. It was a grievous situation. Naked meaning exposed and grievous.
• That's where we are as a country -Staring at death and burials of our citizens.
• I believe there is something that you can do and perhaps it’s the most important one
• We need to recognize what we are up against so as to respond appropriately
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
1. We are on a spiritual warfare
Jesus was met by a man but he was not an ordinary man. He was demons possessed [evil spirit] with a force of about 6 thousands. Anyone facing man this was up against evil spirits.
Fighting him was not a physical battle but a spiritual warfare you could not overcome him by physical fight.
Vs 9 he said his name was legion, for we are many(Legion consisted 6,000 soldiers.)
Vs 4.The people tackled him by chaining him and guarding him but he would still break the chains on his hands the irons on feet.
Spirits cannot be chained or restrained physically. They require bidding, rebuking and pulling them down as well as commanding them as Jesus did.
Vs 8. Jesus waged a spiritual warfare
A military problem requires a military solution.
Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
This corona thing is a spiritual warfare. That's why with all the power and technology it cannot be contained. It is important that our Government takes note that despite all the measures taken the infection rate keeps rising.
The solution is to encourage everyone to take all these measures but importantly citizens should pray.
We all agree that this is bigger than anyone of us neither our resources and abilities,
we also recognize that its only God that can help us.
In the same way the president called for a day of prayer let him call for a season of prayer among other measures
Psalms 127.
Unless God watch over the city those who do so do it in vain. Our efforts minus God will fail because it is a spiritual warfare. Prayer is a spiritual weapon that is missing on the list of government guidelines.
We still have this option that we need to utilize
2nd Corinthians 10:4
The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We are on a spiritual warfare and prayers should be made even for our scientist and doctors as well as researchers for cure or vaccine to be found. The church and nation should be on its knees.
2. Nothing is impossible with God
This man could not be contained by family member or government. He had proved impossible.
Mark 5:4-8 New International Version (NIV)
4 For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him.
V 5 By the time he meets Jesus he was naked living in solitary places and graveyards, he used to cry out and cut himself with stones.
They had given up. But Jesus without any struggle and instantly sorted what was impossible with them.
This corona has proved a hard nut to crack either technologically or human ability. But it is nothing before Jesus.
Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
3. We have a NAME greater than corona
It is amazing, Jesus just stepped on the shore and this demon possessed man who was feared by everybody recognized the king of kings had arrived. He was reduced to nothing.
Vs 6. He was on his feet and the demons were fearfully begging as the hurriedly obeyed the command of Jesus. His word was enough to bring everything to an end.
Corona may have managed to terrify everybody but I believe in the name of Jesus corona will disappear.
Philippians 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
2:11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. We need to call on the name of Jesus
Romans 10:13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
John 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.
14:14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Keep social distance as draw away from men to draw near to God and call His name in prayer.
